The Club Championship concluded on Saturday with a great day of tennis and drinking! All the matches were hard fought and we saw some great 3 setters. Well done all! The results are as follows:

MEN’S DOUBLES: WINNERS: IAN POOLE/JOHN SELBY (R up: Hassaan Mohamed/Vinay Kumar)
VET’S DOUBLES: WINNERS: ANDY PRICE/MIKE ALMOND (R up: Jack Galloway/Paul Bainbridge)
MIXED DOUBLES: WINNERS: JOHN SELBY/OLIVIA PATERSON (R up: Dave Hill/Jo Morris)
The Junior competition was postponed, so please look out for further details.
On to TEAMS:
The Surrey Winter League is due to start in October. If you are interested in representing the club in any of the teams, please can you contact me directly: hellojomotennis@gmail.com ASAP.
We have:
3 Men's and 3 Ladies Surrey team's
1 Mixed team (Surrey but Summer only)
2 VET'S team's (Southwark only)
1 Mixed VET'S team (Southwark only)
Each season has about 5 matches, with 2 or 3 of the games away. We hold Team Practice on a Monday Evening, rotating between the Surrey teams.
We will be holding trials for new players soon, date will depend on interest. If you have any further questions, please send me an email.
