We would like to invite you to an afternoon and evening of music, tennis, food and joy on Saturday 17th June in memory of our very dear friend, Kevin Pratt who sadly passed away recently. Kevin was a long standing and much loved member of North Dulwich whom many of you knew well and will have had a lot of fun playing with him or against him, which always included colourful banter. Kevin really loved playing and being a member at North Dulwich and would attend as many social sessions as possible. His enthusiasm and zest for the game coupled with his carefree and friendly manner made everyone feel welcome when he was on court. His participation at Cardio Tennis on a Saturday was a guarantee of a great session, with HIS cardio so much more evident than everyone else !
Some of Kevin's family and friends will be coming to North Dulwich for the evening and we hope as many of you as possible will be able to come and share in the club’s celebratory evening of a much missed member.
We are hoping to start the evening from 5pm when the courts will be booked out for fun tennis and Cardio. Ther'll be a BBQ, a playlist for music and the bar will of course be open. A buffet and wraps and other goodies will be available throughout the evening.
If anyone would like to be involved with organising and helping out on the day please let us know. Help with the buffet food for the evening will be much appreciated – bring a suitable dish to share if you can (with any potential allergens labelled).
You are welcome to arrive at any time during the late afternoon/evening but it would be super to get an idea of numbers to guide the catering so if you are intending to come please let George know at andersongt@alleyns.org.uk
Like all our events at the club, the evening will be fun and friendly.
