New North Dulwich Wine Club!

As part of our regular range of social activities at the club, we are considering starting our own North Dulwich Wine Club and would like to gather a feeling for the number of members interested!

We are still finalising some of the details – and indeed you will get a chance to shape this – but currently see it as follows:

  • Style: Informal, inclusive, mixture of education and fun – you don’t need to know anything about wine to take part!
  • Frequency: A mid-week (probably Thursday) evening every couple of months
  • What to expect: A mixture of fun, education, social chat and tasting!
  • Education: A talk from a qualified wine educator or a local wine supplier. Either about some wine essentials, specific grape varieties, or a region
  • Tasting: 8 different wines – normally 4 whites and 4 reds, but sometimes a glass of sparkling or sweet as part of the mix

The initial KO session is planned for 7pm on Thursday 16th February and will be hosted by the funny and charming Nina Cerullo who is a leading member of the Association of Wine Educators and used to run the Farnham Wine Society at my previous tennis club!

Costs for each session will be around £25-£28 depending on numbers.

More details to follow – at this stage we are wanting to gauge interest for the 16th of February and confirm Nina for the event. So, it would be brilliant if you could either reply to this email or DM me in the next few days with whether you would like to come along to this pilot event and numbers? Partners, friends, and family welcome!

Not receiving Email Newsletters?

  • Login and check you email address is correct.
  • Contact Us if you changed your email address.
  • Check you spam/junk folders (and mark the message as "not spam/junk" if you find it there).
  • Add "northdulwichtennis@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk" to your Contacts list or email address book.
  • Contact your email service provider and ask them why you're not receiving messages sent from northdulwichtennis@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk.

Hotmail/Outlook Users

  • Login to your Hotmail/Outlook account.
  • Click Settings > View all Outlook settings > Junk Email
  • Add "mycourts.co.uk" and "no-reply.mycourts.co.uk" to your Safe Senders and domains.

GMail Users

  • Go to Gmail Settings > Filters and Blocked Addresses. If "North Dulwich Tennis Club <northdulwichtennis@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk>" appears in the list of blocked addresses, select "North Dulwich Tennis Club <northdulwichtennis@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk>" and click "unblock selected addresses".

Other email service providers may have similar settings -- please follow their instructions. If not, contact their support desk and request delivery of messages from northdulwichtennis@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk.
