A quick reminder about two very different activities
DOUBLES BOX LEAGUE
This will run from next week until the end of November and closing date for entry is tomorrow as I will be sorting the boxes out on Tuesday morning! If you have already emailed or DM'd me, then no further action required - I have your info and if you have applied as a single player, I will do my best to match-make for you! For those of you still to apply, then simply reply to this note!
A reminder for recent joiners - this is an open league - so mixed, mens or womens pairs playing against each other in the same league. You will be a 'box' with 3 or 4 other pairs of a similar standard and its up to you to fix dates and play each other before the end of November. A great way to meet new people, although you may need a degree of tenacity to book games, so please be prepared to be pro-active!
COMEDY NIGHT - 23rd SEPTEMBER 7.30pm
Tickets still available for this always-popular event - so grab your tickets when you can! 3 amazing professional acts compered by our own, always funny, Gerry Howell, who may be able to talk us through his mens doubles final if that happens before then!
